The Dressing Room

Your wedding day starts here. The Dressing Room is a secluded, self-contained courtyard retreat where you can get ready with your closest friends in complete luxury. With a private bathroom, hair and make-up stations and plenty of natural light, you’ll have everything you need to prepare for your unforgettable day.

WALLED GARDEN

Lovingly restored to create a cocoon of calm and beauty, the walled garden hides wonderful surprises around every corner – a tinkling fountain, reflecting pool or sculpture, each one a perfect backdrop for your unforgettable memories.

At its heart is the Knott Garden, an intimate oasis of green where you can leave the outside world behind and say those all-important words surrounded only by birdsong, the scent of roses and the ones you love most.

The Fizzy Filly

Before the ceremony, the celebrations start here Parked up in the beautiful estate grounds, The Fizzy Filly is your pre-ceremony pit stop for chilled bubbles, refreshing cocktails and garden-inspired drinks. Gather your favourite people, soak up the sunshine and enjoy a little something delicious while you wait for the main event. Because the best wedding days don’t wait until “I Do” to begin.

THE ORANGERY

The delightful Orangery surrounds you with beauty on all sides, hand-painted murals and wonderful views over the gardens. This exquisite space is dedicated to our indoor ceremonies and is also perfect for small and intimate daytime receptions.

Woodlands

Discover Woodlands, Braxted Park’s enchanting woodland ceremony space. This secluded setting offers a breathtaking backdrop, complete with a magnificent 600-year-old tree as its centrepiece. Whether you're planning a civil or humanist ceremony, Woodlands provides a wonderful setting for ceremonies surrounded by nature. After the ceremony, you can also host your drinks reception in this spectacular setting.

THE PAVILION

Nestled so naturally within the walled garden that it could have been there forever, the recently-created Pavilion was designed to delight. Picture windows and doorways link it seamlessly with outdoor terraces and the green spaces beyond, while inside all is contemporary comfort and state-of-the-art facilities.
Yours for the whole day and into the night, the pavilion can be whatever you want it to be: an elegant dining room laid with starched linen, a place for laughter, fun and games, or your own exclusive night club where guests can party under the starlit ceiling to the sounds of our resident DJ.

THE HOUSE

The magnificent Georgian house was originally built in 1750, and five generations of the same family have now lived and loved here. That’s why, when you book Braxted Park, you receive the care and attention that only a much-loved home could offer.
With its original elegance preserved, the interior can occasionally be made available for photos. Just visit our gallery and you can picture yourselves in this fabulous setting.

THE GARDENS

With beauty all year round, planted for colour and scent with banks of lavender, rose arbours and immaculately clipped lawns, the gardens at Braxted Park are the jewel in our crown. Behind every wall or in hidden hollows is a fabulous film set just waiting for its stars. A fountain, surprising sculpture, elegant balustrade or sheltering oak, the gardens are full of delightful surprises.

THE GARDEN COTTAGE

Nestled within the tranquil grounds of Braxted Park Estate sits The Garden Cottage, our luxuriously romantic hideaway cottage. Newly renovated, The Garden Cottage offers newlyweds a private haven to enjoy at the end of an unforgettable day without having to venture outside of Braxted Park’s grounds.
