As the months unfold at Braxted Park Estate, 2026 has already brought plenty of memorable moments.
From inspiring events and milestone celebrations to beautiful seasonal changes across the grounds, exciting refurbishments and new additions to the team, the year so far has been full of momentum. It has also given us every reason to feel excited about what lies ahead.
Here is a look back at all that has happened so far this year, along with a glimpse of what is still to come.
The year began with some wonderful opportunities to welcome couples to the estate and share the Braxted Park Estate experience.
Our Wedding Showcase and Essex Wedding Fair both brought a fantastic atmosphere to the venue, welcoming a lovely mix of booked couples and new visitors. These events are always such a special part of the calendar, offering couples the chance to explore the estate, meet our trusted suppliers and begin picturing how their own celebration could come to life.
Our suppliers were exceptional throughout, helping to showcase each space beautifully, while the team thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and guiding them through the estate.
One of the most memorable moments of the year so far came on 7th April, when a lovely couple married outside on the back lawn.
Thanks to the early warm weather, this became the earliest outdoor ceremony Braxted Park Estate has hosted to date. It was a beautiful way to begin the outdoor wedding season and has made us all the more excited for the summer celebrations still to come.
If this is how the season has started, we cannot wait to see what the coming months will bring.
This year has also seen some exciting refurbishments across the estate.
Our newly refurbished Dressing Room has been a huge hit with wedding couples. We have loved seeing their reactions as they step into the transformed space, and it has been especially lovely to receive beautiful images of brides getting ready there on the morning of their wedding day.
Designed to feel calm, elegant and inviting, it has quickly become a much-loved part of the wedding morning experience.

Alongside this, Stable Rooms SR11 and SR12 have also been refurbished and are now being enjoyed by wedding guests, bringing even more comfort to their stay at Braxted Park Estate.
Behind the scenes, our gardening team has been working hard throughout the early part of the year to prepare the estate for spring and summer weddings.
From replanting to scarifying the lawns, every detail has been carefully tended to in order to bring the grounds back into bloom and ensure the estate looks its very best for every celebration.
The Hornbeam Lawn, located within the Walled Garden, has also seen an exciting transformation. Once home to a small pond, the space has now been refreshed with new turf and is set to become the perfect setting for drinks reception entertainment.
From garden games and mini golf to live performances or simply a relaxed moment in the sunshine, it is a lovely addition to the estate and one we are excited to see enjoyed throughout the months ahead.
Another important point in the year so far has been the completion of our final wedding menu tastings for 2026 couples.
Our Head Chef, Chris Mann, has thoroughly enjoyed meeting couples and discussing their menu choices for the big day. These tastings are always such an exciting part of the planning journey and a chance for couples to bring another part of their celebration to life.
Now, our chefs turn their focus to delivering exceptional wedding menus throughout the summer season, before tastings resume in September for our 2027 couples.
There have also been some lovely changes within the team this year.
The Estate Office has recently welcomed Ellie and Holly, both of whom bring a wealth of experience and have already immersed themselves in wedding planning.
Within our Operations team, we are also wishing Kirsty all the very best as she begins her maternity leave ahead of welcoming her baby boy. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Liv to the team.
As always, it is the people behind Braxted Park Estate who make every celebration feel so personal, and the whole team is looking forward to a busy and exciting season ahead.
While there has already been so much to reflect on, there is also plenty still to look forward to.
One of the upcoming highlights on the calendar is An Evening at Braxted, taking place on Friday, 8th May, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
This relaxed and atmospheric event welcomes both booked couples seeking inspiration and new visitors wanting to explore the venue. Styled to feel as though a wedding is taking place, it offers a true sense of how a celebration could look and flow across the estate.
It is always a wonderful evening and a lovely opportunity to experience Braxted Park Estate in a particularly special setting.
The year so far has already brought so many special moments to Braxted Park Estate. From events and weddings to refurbishments, tastings and preparations across the grounds, it has been a joyful and exciting start to 2026.
And with summer still ahead, there is every sense that the best may be yet to come.
