6. Enjoy your day… whatever the weather
Of course, as Braxted Park is exclusively yours, if it decides to rain, you’ll have a number of stunning indoor spaces to choose from. So why not marry in front of the magnificent arched windows in the Orangery and dine and dance the night away in the Pavilion, surrounded by glorious gardens at every turn?
When it comes to the ever-unpredictable English weather, it’s always a good idea to prepare for all eventualities. For example, umbrellas could make the difference between staying outside until it passes and feeling like you need to escape indoors. Equally, if it’s an exceptionally hot day, offer parasols to shade your guests from the sun or print your Orders of Service on paper fans.
Tip – make sure your hairdresser and make-up artist know you’re planning an outdoor ceremony so they can bear this in mind when adding finishing touches and adapt to suit the weather on the day.
